Black Friday Cyber Monday 2020: Is Your eCommerce Site Ready?

1. Shopify Plus.

In light of the challenging nature of 2020 so far, Shopify Plus is holding a webinar on Thursday, 17th September to discuss the shape of Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year. The webinar will cover:

  • Insights from Google on how retailers can expect consumers to approach shopping this holiday season.

  • If and how brands are planning their involvement in Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year.

2. Loyalty Lion.

The data-driven loyalty experts at Loyalty Lion have put together a post on Q3 preparations needed for BFCM. Understanding that the landscape has changed, they’re offering advice on how to re-group and establish new habits for the new-look sales season. 3. Drapers Online.

Helpfully, Drapers Online have a Black Friday landing page here that covers all the latest news for both in-store and online. Their latest article, Is Christmas 2020 Cancelled For Fashion Retailers?, explores the impact of Covid-19. Spoiler alert: Christmas is still on!

4. Klaviyo.

5. Emarsys.

Looking on the bright side, marketing gurus Emarsys make the valid point that eCommerce is now at the forefront of consumers’ minds going into BFCM. Focusing on the opportunities this presents for digital channels, they’re offering three tips for using e-commerce to create memorable customer experiences and sales opportunities during Black Friday 2020. In this post, Tech Radar shares the rumoured Amazon Black Friday 2020 start date as well as the plans for Prime Day. It’s useful information to have when planning your eCommerce activity (work or personal!) over the sales season.

7. Nosto.
