Case Furniture.
Delivering flexibility, control & a superior user experience.
As online furniture shopping accelerated, Case wanted a platform that could better support its evolving needs. Their goal was to create a premium user experience, gain more in-house control over content and merchandising, and lay the groundwork for long-term digital growth.
Replatforming from WooCommerce to Shopify Advanced.
The blubolt team migrated Case from WooCommerce to Shopify Advanced to provide a stable, flexible platform capable of supporting future growth. The new site gives Case full in-house control, enabling them to update products, promotions, and content with ease while maintaining a high-quality user experience.
Accessible, innovative design.
Case’s brief emphasised accessible, innovative, authored design. The new website showcases award-winning furniture and highlights the high-tech craftsmanship behind each piece. The homepage uses flexible content blocks in a grid layout, allowing the team to fully customise each section. This design approach encourages exploration, enhancing user engagement and driving conversions.
Customised product pages & functional enhancements.
Bearing in mind the brand’s affinity for beautiful design combined with high function, the blubolt team sought to replicate this on the new website. The product detail page was designed for clarity and functionality. Expandable sections provide additional product information, while fully customisable delivery options and unique selling points increase transparency and trust. The team also implemented upsell sections, a sample request service, and upgraded designer profile pages.
Carefully selected technology partners (including CloudSearch for advanced search and filtering, Gorgias for live chat, and Klaviyo for email marketing) ensure a seamless customer experience.
Post-launch optimisation through journey-led growth.
After launch, the blubolt CRO team analysed user behaviour on product pages and identified barriers to purchase. Key findings included:
- Hesitation due to complex delivery fees and timelines
- Difficulty discovering products on mobile
- Uncertainty about furniture dimensions and fit
Using a journey-led approach, the team mapped and measured the customer journey, conducting controlled user testing to observe behaviour and gather direct feedback. Insights informed 23 optimisation recommendations, prioritising 13 for immediate implementation. Recommendations focused on delivery transparency, trust signals, navigation, user experience, and value proposition. This ongoing optimisation ensures Case’s website continues to evolve in line with user needs and business goals.
A beautiful, powerful platform that drives growth.
Case’s new Shopify Advanced website reflects the elegance and quality of its furniture while offering flexibility for future growth. The journey-led approach to design and optimisation ensures that the website is not only visually compelling but also conversion-focused. With ongoing CRO support, Case continues to reduce friction in the customer journey, drive engagement, and increase sales - making great design accessible to the mass market.
