Already thriving on Shopify Plus, RIXO needed a digital experience that matched its modern, premium identity while offering greater creative flexibility to boost conversions and average order value. blubolt was tasked with:

• Designing and developing a modular Shopify 2.0 site that empowered the RIXO team to adapt content easily.
• Enhancing the customer journey to improve discovery, loyalty, and retention.
• Enabling global scalability, supporting new international stores alongside existing UK locations.

We reimagined RIXO’s Shopify Plus site with a refined design that celebrates its vintage-inspired aesthetic. Using Shopify Online Store 2.0’s “sections everywhere”, we gave RIXO full creative control over layouts, spacing, and design elements by section and device. The result is a dynamic, contemporary site that perfectly mirrors the brand’s evolving collections.

We optimised every stage of the customer journey to make shopping easy, informative, and engaging:

• Customisable collection imagery, fonts, and colours, plus product stickers to highlight exclusives or sizing ranges.
• Product-specific size and fit guidance via metafields.
• ‘Style it with’ recommendations from Nosto.
• Locked collections for loyal customers only.
• Try Before You Buy integration with Harper Concierge (London only), blending Liquid and React JS for a seamless custom build.
• A flexible, editorial-style blog (The Edits) for storytelling and brand content.
• Pre-orders with Purple Dot, in-store availability via Stofind, and wishlist/back-in-stock alerts from Swym.

Every element was built to reduce friction, strengthen engagement, and support conversion – all part of a joined-up, journey-led growth strategy.

International growth with Shopify Markets.

To support RIXO’s global expansion, which includes three UK stores, two concessions (Liberty & Harrods), and new international sites in Ireland and New York City, we implemented Shopify Markets for four key regions: UK, Europe, USA, and the Rest of the World.

This setup enables localised pricing, currency, and content management across markets. We also added geolocation functionality in the footer to display customers’ nearest RIXO store, connecting the online and in-store experience.
