Delivering flexibility & efficiency to support growth on Shopify Plus.

Snowdonia Cheese needed a platform that could support its ambitious growth plans over the next 5-10 years. The brand required the flexibility to expand its product offerings, streamline operations, and support internationalisation with Shopify Plus, while reducing the time spent on manual tasks, such as report generation. It’s Gouda looking: a bespoke theme design conveying a premium product.

We crafted a custom theme tailored to Snowdonia Cheese’s rebrand, designed to evoke luxury and connect with their core audience. The design appeals to food lovers who appreciate premium products, highlighting the brand's heritage, awards, and exceptional ingredients. Incorporating elements like their iconic mountain logo, the design fosters trust and engages customers by providing an educational and personable discovery journey. Rich imagery and clear calls to action ensure Snowdonia Cheese stands out as a top-tier brand.

A sleek migration from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus, primed for international expansion.

We successfully migrated Snowdonia Cheese from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus, ensuring a seamless transfer of products, customers, and orders. For easy international expansion, the team implemented Shopify Markets and made specific theme adaptations for non-transactional markets (the US and Canada) to prevent users from purchasing at this time. We also optimised the site for speed and stability to ensure Snowdonia is equipped to meet growth targets.

Key partners for the site include Klaviyo for email and back-in-stock notifications, Yotpo for reviews, UGC and loyalty, Intently for onsite pop-ups, Shopify for search and discovery, and Smart Wishlist for wishlist functionality.

Grate news: a custom date picker functionality & hamper builder.

We introduced two key features that elevate the customer experience: a custom date picker and a bespoke hamper builder. The date picker allows customers to select their preferred delivery date, with added flexibility for peak trading periods, including limited slots and varied shipping rules based on location. The hamper builder offers customers the ability to customise hampers by selecting products from various categories, complete with minimum and maximum selection rules, providing a competitive edge while encouraging product upselling.

You feta believe it: improving visibility of user behaviour.

Another specific challenge set by Snowdonia Cheese was enhancing the visibility of customer behaviour across Google Analytics, paid media channels, and various reports. To achieve this, we implemented a core data layer that adheres to industry best practices and captures all core events throughout the customer journey. Furthermore, using a hybrid approach with the Google and YouTube Shopify App, a custom pixel, and Google Tag Manager that enriches the missing user behaviours, we’ve provided Snowdonia Cheese with a full picture of behaviour within GA4, paid channels and reports enabling better decision-making and optimisation.
