We’ve just finished another beautiful ecommerce website: Case has launched on Advanced Shopify.

Case: about the brand.

Founded in 2006, Case is a modern and contemporary furniture producer known for its “design without compromise”. Standing out from the crowd, the brand makes no secret of its mission to “make quality, authored products accessible to the mass market.” To deliver on this, Case has always employed cutting-edge technology and manufacturing techniques along with a raft of world-renowned furniture designers. With a worldwide client base, Case sells both directly to customers and through well-known retailers such as John Lewis, Liberty and Heal’s.

Furniture from Case: exudes both form and function.

Migrating in style: WooCommerce to Advanced Shopify.

Case wanted to upgrade its online presence to better reflect the high-quality nature of its products and brand. As such, blubolt migrated Case from WooCommerce to Shopify Advanced, thus providing a flexible and stable platform for growth. Following the move, the Case team now have a wealth of in-house control with Advanced Shopify, enabling them to adapt their website to meet new demands from their online furniture shoppers.

Designed without compromise.

The Case team briefed blubolt for a bespoke theme to convey their core brand values and USPs. This meant emphasising not only the award-winning furniture designs but also the high-tech quality craftsmanship. The new design meets this brief perfectly!

“We designed the homepage with content blocks that can be split into smaller sections,” says Harry Parkin, designer at blubolt. “This grid layout meets the brand's request for flexibility as each section is completely customisable. The design also offers an enhanced user experience, encouraging customers to browse the site which in turn aids conversions.”

Case: the new Shopify Plus website

Furnished with both form & function.

Given the brand's affinity for beautiful design combined with high function, the blubolt development team sought to replicate this on the new website. “We kept the PDPs super clear with expandable sections for more product details plus fully customisable delivery and USP information,” says Luke Parry, developer at blubolt. “We also delivered an upsell section, a sleek sample request service, and upgraded the designer profile pages.” Finally, the team carefully selected technology partners to meet these standards. For example, integrations with CloudSearch for search and filtering, Gorgias for live chat, and Klaviyo for email marketing.

Case well made: browse the new site.
