As this is a custom app, exclusive to blubolt clients, it is installed as part of a Shopify build with blubolt or our growth & optimisation programme, called bluprint for success.

The game-changing fulfilment solution for Shopify brands and their customers.
You sell products that must be delivered within strict time frames (e.g. perishable goods).
Your products are available or restricted by specific delivery location (e.g. Product A can be sold in London, Product B can be sold nationwide).
You have production and packing limits to work within.
What the Date & Delivery Selector will enable you to do.
Only sell some products to certain postcodes? Need next day delivery on specific products? Our app is designed to handle complex fulfilment options, like delivery date selection and available shipping methods, even when these requirements vary by product.
Does your fulfilment depend on daily order limits? Rest easy knowing you have production limits in place on specified items and a maximum number of orders that could be fulfilled by your team on a daily basis. And remember that you can change these as often as you wish!
Whether you have a new Shopify Plus build or ongoing support with blubolt, our expert team will ensure a fast and easy setup for you and your team. Then you can apply rules to suit your individual products, fulfilment capacity, and available delivery options.
Our onboarding process walks you through how to set up the Delivery Date app, how to configure your rules, and how to set up shipping methods, all from within the Shopify admin you're used to.
The app works by showing a special button on the product page and cart page that the customers click to choose their preferred delivery date. We'll make sure it's perfectly on-brand.
The app shows a special 'widget' on your website that is very intuitive for your customers to use. They simply enter their postcode, choose a date, and click Save.
Once a customer places an order, their chosen delivery date is saved and can be sent to your back-office system for processing (e.g. your ERP, CRM, or WMS system).
Pipers Farm is an award-winning online butcher selling grass-fed and free-range meat. Taking into account the perishable product range, the brand needed a higher level of granularity. With the Date & Delivery Selector, they can now tailor delivery options for every product in the range AND all UK locations, creating as many bespoke rules as required.
Founded by two foodie sisters, Cutter & Squidge offer baked goods like cakes, brownies, jams and caramels. The brand was mostly London-focused but wanted to improve its nationwide offering. With the Date & Delivery Selector, they can now completely customise the delivery options by location (London and Nationwide addresses) and by every product.
If you’re looking to build a new Shopify Plus site, or are in need of ongoing support, get in touch to discuss your needs. After getting some details on your project, we’ll happily provide upfront costs.
This custom app is designed for Shopify only.
As many as you like! There are no limits to the number of rules you can create.
No problem, you can easily make changes yourself. As part of the seamless setup with blubolt, we’ll show you how to do this and will be on-hand for ongoing support should you have further queries.
Yes, the app provides available delivery dates to customers based on the items in their cart and their location/region. Cleverly, this also incorporates the customer’s timezone in order to prevent customers in other timezones from inadvertently circumventing delivery deadlines.
The app checks available delivery dates for the user’s postcode on the product detail page (PDP) and the cart. Once at the checkout, the app then looks at the products in the cart, the selected delivery date, and the shipping address to provide all applicable delivery methods and prices. As a result, if the customer changes their delivery location, the list of available methods will alter based on the customer’s new location. This avoids customers inadvertently circumventing the logic by changing delivery details on the checkout page.
