The challenge

Migrating eight brands. One enterprise solution. Zero compromise.

ZyroFisher’s mission is to help its partner brands reach their full potential. But managing multiple ecommerce sites on different CMS platforms created friction, both for the ZyroFisher team and for customer journeys.

The blubolt team was brought in to deliver an enterprise-level Shopify solution that unified eight ZyroFisher brand sites (previously hosted on VisualSoft, with one already on Shopify) under a single, flexible framework.

Our goals were clear:

1. Create a scalable “parent” Shopify theme so each of the eight brands could run as “child” sites, maintaining their unique identities within a shared architecture.

2. Unify the backend setup to enable efficient management of all brands without additional learning curves.

3. Remove friction across teams and platforms, empowering ZyroFisher to manage their ecommerce ecosystem seamlessly while setting the foundation for journey-led growth.

This wasn’t just a migration. It was a transformation of how ZyroFisher’s brands collaborate, operate, and grow.

The ZyroFisher brands

Eight distinct brands, one cohesive ecosystem.

ZyroFisher now powers eight of its prestigious brands on Shopify - five on Shopify Plus and three on Shopify Advanced - each with its own distinct audience and identity.

Shopify Plus brands.

Altura. This brand is tried, tested and trusted, with over 25 years of experience producing the most considered cycling products.

Bell Bike Helmets. Established in 1954, Bell is synonymous with imbuing confidence in thrill seekers with a high-quality range of helmets for auto racing, motorcycling and bicycling.

Camelbak. Known as the home of hands-free hydration for sporting enthusiasts, Camelbak is the world's leading maker of hydration solutions like bottles, packs, coolers, reservoirs, filtration and assorted accessories.

Giro. Steadfastly committed to serving enthusiast riders, the brand offers high-quality cycling equipment like helmets, shoes, gloves, and clothing.

Panaracer. Founded in Japan in 1952, the brand manufactures bicycle tyres for elite cycling.

Shopify Advanced brands.

BMC. Featuring intricate Swiss engineering, BMC’s collection of premium bikes is the natural choice of the world’s top athletes, who go on to win races like the Tour de France.

CatEye. Founded in 1954, CatEye is the world industry leader in innovative cycle computers, lights and reflectors for cyclists.

Tifosi. With the brand name Italian for ‘super-fan’, it’s no surprise that Tifosi eyewear is a trusted brand for enthusiasts of all sports, particularly cycling, running, outdoor and golf.

Together, these brands represent ZyroFisher’s ambition to create a world-class ecommerce network that is as diverse as its customer base and as connected as the journeys they power.

The solutions

We began with a full audit of each site, identifying shared components and common blocks. These became the backbone of the parent theme, while each child site could still flex its unique brand style.

- Seamless content management. Updates made once can be deployed across all brands.

- Consistent performance. One solid foundation, tailored branding per site.

- Reduced cost and complexity. One development effort powers multiple sites.

Cohesive structure, distinctive flair.

Designing for eight brands meant balancing individuality with harmony. We crafted a component library and design system where every element could flex to fit a brand’s unique look without breaking the structure.

From typography and colour palettes to imagery and page composition, every site now delivers a consistent yet personality-rich experience that strengthens each brand’s identity and user connection.

Empowering teams to build faster and smarter.

Each site comes with:

- Multiple header, footer, and PDP options.

- Customisable product swatch styles (for example, colours or images).

- Shared “quick-build” sections for hero images, collections, promo blocks and image and text content.

This flexibility empowers ZyroFisher’s internal teams to mix, match, and build at speed. This in turn, keeps content fresh and on-brand without developer dependency.

Perfect partners: a unified tech stack.

We helped ZyroFisher select and integrate a future-ready tech stack across all brands. This includes Nosto for personalisation, Klaviyo for email marketing, Yotpo for reviews, Zendesk for customer support, Shopify Translate & Adapt for multi-language sites, and Boost Commerce for search and filtering. In addition, the team integrated Stockist for the store locator, Kiwi for sizing charts, Equate for product comparisons and Smart Wishlist for the wishlist.

This unified stack ensures every customer journey from discovery to conversion is seamless, data-driven, and optimised for growth.
